Tom Pfiffner to Join Medical Associates Clinic as Chief Operating Officer

Medical Associates Clinic is pleased to announce that Tom Pfiffner has accepted the Chief Operating Officer position for Medical Associates Clinic.

Tom Pfiffner is a Dubuque native who has worked in multiple health systems since graduating from the University of Iowa. He was previously with Northwestern Medicine and Advocate Aurora Health in Chicago for over 20 years in various leadership roles and has an extensive background in clinical and surgical operations, revenue cycle, systems, mergers, and acquisitions. He worked most recently as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations at
American Orthopedic Partners, LLC, where he led the effort to integrate clinical and quality programs across their national orthopedic practice. Medical Associates is excited to welcome Mr. Pfiffner back to Dubuque, and they look forward to leveraging his past experiences to help them continue to thrive in a challenging healthcare environment.
