Eagle Physicians

icon Greensboro, NC

Eagle Physicians was founded in 1995 by 5 long-standing and highly-regarded Greensboro primary care medical groups. Healthcare during the 1990’s was a changing and challenging landscape, prompting these groups to band together to have a greater voice in and influence of the kind of health care they wanted to provide to their patients. This patient-focused, independent spirit of physician owners guided Eagle’s founders and, through the years, Eagle has grown to 16 locations with a multitude of specialties and services. One of Greensboro’s first adopters of an electronic medical record, Eagle was also able to be out front in providing a robust patient portal for an enhanced patient experience. As a symbol of our laser focus on patients, Eagle has received its fifth Patient Centered Medical Home designation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance – one of the highest designations a group can receive for outstanding patient-centered care. As owners, Eagle’s physicians do not report to a health care system or other corporate entity, but rather run their practices guided by their medical training – what’s best for the patient drives the business model…nothing else. As a respected health care leader, we value the trust all of our patients have placed in us to manage their and their families’ care. It is a privilege to serve our community.

The Iowa Clinic

icon West Des Moines, IA

The Iowa Clinic, P.C., is a physician-owned multispecialty group in Central Iowa with more than 250 physicians and providers practicing in more than 40 specialties and performing 700,000 clinic visits per year. The clinic is locally owned by board-certified doctors living and working in the communities they serve – a population area of 1.1 million. This matters because decisions about patient care are determined by each patient and the patient’s physician. Independence and control of patient care brought the physicians of The Iowa Clinic together in 1994, and it’s what keeps them together today.

The Iowa Clinic’s primary location is a 170,000 square foot state-of-the-art medical facility located in West Des Moines. The clinic also operates a 53,000 square foot multispecialty facility in Ankeny and seven clinic sites located throughout the Des Moines metropolitan area. The Iowa Clinic partners with local medical centers and hospitals to provide leading-edge healthcare for patients in Central Iowa, as well as numerous outreach clinics in rural communities. The physicians have privileges at both hospital systems in central Iowa—UnityPoint Health and MercyOne. The clinic is a trusted and frequent partner of other area medical centers and hospitals, providing additional levels of leading-edge healthcare for patients outside of their traditional coverage area.
