Christie Clinic: Illinois Marathon – A Celebration of Health and Community

Christie Clinic is an integral part of the eagerly awaited Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend, held in the heart of Champaign, IL on the last weekend of April each year. This annual event has solidified its status as a Boston Qualifier race, thanks to its flat and fast course, complemented by the undeniable charm of the Midwest.

This year’s Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend promises an extraordinary experience, boasting a total of 15 races tailored to participants of all skill levels. Beyond the excitement of the races, Christie Clinic’s commitment shines through as their team members actively contribute to the event. Their team will be engaging with race participants at the Health & Fitness Expo on Thursday and Friday with giveaways and fun activities like a hula hooping contest, plinko and connect 4. Look out for their dedicated providers from the Department of Physical Therapy leading the “Stretch on the Street” sessions following the races on both Friday night and Saturday. Dr. Jared Willard, from the Department of Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, exemplifies the clinic’s dedication by volunteering his expertise as part of the official race medical team.
