Watson Clinic Becomes Stratum Med’s Twentieth Shareholder

Last fall, Stratum Med welcomed Watson Clinic as its twentieth shareholder, after unanimous board approval.  Watson Clinic and Stratum have enjoyed a valuable partnership for some time so this was a celebrated step all around.     

Established in 1941, Watson Clinic has remained true to their mission from the beginning: “to provide the very best healthcare to the people of Polk County and beyond.”  Proudly serving generations of patients with an unwavering commitment to quality, Watson Clinic has grown from a small medical group comprised of five physicians to one of the largest and most respected clinics in the Southeast. Today, the Clinic operates 20 convenient locations spread across three counties in Central Florida.  These multi-specialty locations feature all the services a patient may require in their lifetime, including a state-of-the-art cancer center, comprehensive women’s healthcare facility, dermatology offices, and more.  

In 1969, Watson Clinic became the first clinic in the United States to be accredited by the American Association of Medical Clinics (AAMC).  As medical advancements have developed new and exciting possibilities, Watson Clinic continues to lead the way by offering the latest innovations in technology and research to ensure the best possible patient treatment outcomes.
